Planning a cultural weekend
Start with one event that makes you want to leave home. Build the rest of the day around its confirmed time.
Check the calendar
Make sure the announcement is for the Saturday and Sunday you want rather than an older programme. Esprio’s weekend collection covers the current upcoming weekend; on Sunday it retains only events that have not started. Read the full date and time. For a group, first compare when everyone can reach the venue.
Let one evening anchor the plan
Confirm admission to your main event before adding a walk or museum. Ask for the running time if you plan a second gathering. Leave time to travel between addresses and enter, rather than joining events merely because they share a neighbourhood. If the finish time is unpublished, do not assume a short gap is enough before another ticketed event.
Check again before leaving
Open the official announcement, check your confirmation and address instructions. Save a contact for questions about changes. If cancelled, do not transfer a ticket or request to another event without the organiser’s reply. If the directory has nothing suitable, check official sites or another date; it does not prove that nothing is happening in the city.
Before you leave
Dates checked; main event confirmed; travel between venues feasible; changes reviewed.
